History Tour
The Society is working to re-create the Goose Creek Salt Works, one of the most important industries in Kentucky when it began producing salt  in the early 1790s. Located on the famous Warrior's Path, it was the site of the first Clay County government in 1807.
It is now the home of  the Cotton cabin, one of the oldest structures of its type in Kentucky. Click to read more.
